Day 1: Fly to Amman
Fly to Amman. On arrival, transfer to your hotel.

Day 2: Discover Jerash
Take a tour of Amman this morning before traveling to Jerash, an ancient Roman city. See the hippodrome and learn about the city’s history. Then, continue to Ajloun where you visit a 12th century castle.

Day 3: Explore Amman
Venture outside of the city to visit some of the desert castles, where you can see examples of early Islamic art. Return to Amman to explore the old city, visiting the Citadel and Roman theatre.

Day 4: Travel to Petra
Today, head south, visiting Mount Nebo here you’ll explore the ruins of 4th/5th century churches. Continue to the town of Madaba, where you’ll find the Church of St George and the Madaba Mosaic Map. Continue to Petra. This evening, enjoy a cooking class with a local chef.

Day 5: Petra
A highlight of the tour for many, spend the morning visiting the beautiful city of Petra, carved from pink sandstone cliffs. Venture through the gorge and admire the famous Treasury. Enjoy an afternoon at leisure before returning to Petra in the evening to see it lit by candelight.

Day 6: Wadi Rum Desert Camp
Start with a visit to Little Petra before transferring to Wadi Rum, the Valley of the Moon. Embark on a 4×4 tour of the desert, exploring Lawrence’s Road and many other exciting sites. In the evening, stay in a unique desert camp with en-suite private tents.

Day 7: The Dead Sea
Check out of your desert camp in Wadi Rum this morning and head north to the Dead Sea, the lowest point in the world. After lunch, you have free time to enjoy the sea.

Rise early this morning for transfer back to the airport for your flight home
